The German regional court (Landgericht) Hamburg specified in a decision on 12 May 1998 that the owner of a Website may be held partly responsible for the contents of links inserted on his Website.
According to the Landgericht, this can only be prevented by expressly
dissociating oneself from such contents. With respect to all links on the Website of hotel morgenstern gmbh, we therefore declare:
We have no influence whatsover on the design and contents of linked websites. We therefore expressly dissociate ourselves from any contents of all linked Websites and do not appropriate them. This declaration comprises all links displayed on this domain and any contents of the sites to which the banners and links inserted by us may lead.
